AMI
What is AMI?
(Advanced Metering Infrastructure)
AMI (Advanced Metering Infrastructure) refers to remote-control solutions that collect, manage, and perform use-analysis, and measure the amount of energy used every day for items such as electricity, water, and gas.
NuriFlex’s Smart Meter Solution Overview
NuriFlex Metering System is a data acquisition and data processing platform. It is designed to provide key functionality around AMI installation and basic operation, including data acquisition, device management, multi-network management, and device reprogramming. It allows for two-way communication between AMI network and the Head-end platform and acquisition of data with AMI and HAN devices connected in a Nuri AMI Network.

Online Pre-Paid AMI
What is Online Pre-Paid AMI?
Online Pre-Paid AMI enables clients to pay before using everyday energy such as electricity, water, and gas. The system is able to measure, manage, collect and analyze energy consumption remotely. Additionally, it can recharge client credits and stop the supply of energy upon expiration of credits in real-time.
The world’s first pre-paid AMI system was developed in 2013 and has earned wide acclaim; the technology is expected to provide invaluable solutions for regions that use pre-paid payment systems such as Africa, South East Asia, the Middle East, and South America.
This is especially important for countries in Africa where power theft is almost 20-40%; such a service is a necessary solution, and so we have had a pre-paid AMI system in that region since 2013, including in Ghana, which has contributed to their effort to reach zero power loss due to theft.
